As part of our Victorian topic, we have been learning about homes and houses from the Victorian era. We explored William Morris - inspired Victorian Floor tile art and discovered how much mathematics is involved in these beautiful designs. We investigated motifs, symmetry, shapes and tessellation, linking art and maths together just as Victorian designers did.
