P4-7 have been learning all about forces and how they affect the world around us. The children explored different types of forces, including pushes, pulls, friction, and gravity, through practical discussions and real-life examples.
To bring the learning to life, the class investigated the tyres on cars and discussed how friction helps vehicles grip the road and travel safely. The children also explored the impact of gravity and how it keeps objects on the ground and affects movement in everyday life.
The pupils enjoyed sharing their own ideas and making links between science learning and the world around them.
